Near our hotel in Rome, the Ludovisi, is the Trinita dei Monti church high up on a hill from which the view was rather spectacular. This was the Trinita dei Monti Piazzi di Spagna.
These 135 monumental Spanish Steps rise on a 95-foot slope between the Piazza di Spagna at the base and the Piazza Trinità dei Monti at the top.
From our vantage point, we observed the never-ending flow of tourists.
