In the morning it was time to take our bags onto the street at Hotel Ludovisi and hail a cab.
Leaving was bittersweet. We were on to a few days at the coast on our own (the town of Forte dei Marmi where it rained the whole time!), and then we would fly home from Pisa.
There were so many memories from our 10 days in the special cities of Venice, Florence, and Rome (not to mention over 600 photos that I had taken).
We could only take solace in telling ourselves, we'll be back in Europe before we know it, and savor the wonderful experience we'd had...
